  1. I want to make some letters to spell out initials on a granny square blanket......I am trying to figure out how to either crochet right onto the blanket or crochet the letters individually and then attach them. I am not finding what I am looking for....Can you advise me please?

  5. Can you do a tutorial on how to crochet a jester hat with more than 2 tassels? I've looked everywhere but no videos on how to do it. I came across a good amount of people looking for the same thing. I just started and your videos helped me so much....so I thought I'd ask you. I found a pattern, but I don't really know how to read it.

    Here's an example on PAGE 41. http://www.coatsandclark.com/NR/rdonlyres/6286BB49-F755-4B42-9209-89566966CEAA/157153/HolidayeBookfromRedHeartYarn.pdf

  6. Hi Teresa, i was wondering if you have a pattern/tutorial for ladies beach shorts? Thank you

  7. I just wanted to thank you for your clear tutorial on YouTube of the front and back post double crochet. I'm a beginner and it was so clear and helpful!

I also love your "freedom" scarf pattern....I am working on trying a hat--would love to do this pattern on a hat! It's my first project (yes, I've ripped out 2x, lol; the first pattern wasn't working well for me, second one was rippling all over :(--I think that there is too much going on for it to lay flat as I increase....maybe i need to just do more single DC's instead of doubling for the increase...(i mean increment it more slowly--like 1 DC, 1 dc, 2dc's, 1dc, 1dc, 2 dc's instead of the 1 dc, 2dc, 1dc, 2dc of the pattern).

Anyway, just wanted to thank you!
    Warmly,
    Corrine

  8. Hi Teresa!

Thank you so much for your tips and tutorials! They have given me so many ideas for my own projects.

I was just wondering if you give me a little but of help. I was wanting to crochet a fitted camera case for my Olympus EP3. I was wanting to have a little bit that goes around the actual lens itself as well. I have an idea how to crochet the bit for the lens but I am trying to figure out how I am going to crochet the bit for the body of the camera. Any tips you can give would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks for your help and keep up the wonderful videos!

  9. HI, Teresa, I have learned so much from you, you are truly an artist, thank you so much for sharing so much for everyone, videos are so perfect. I have one problem, things I make come out too big and wide, such as booties and slippers, hats too. can you please give me some tips to prevent this, I know my stitches well, but even if I switch to a smaller hook, it doesn't help much. any advice would be so appreciated. 17. Hi there,
your videos have helped me a lot with learning to crochet, they are really clear, you are a brilliant teacher! I have been making brooches for Mother's Day in London UK using your Cheerful crochet flower pattern and it is quite popular! I am donating the profit to Theatre Peckham, a charity that provides performing arts training in my area at affordable prices.

  18. Hi Teresa,

I love your tutorials...recentley had to learn F post dc and B post dc.. but my how to books had diagrams...which did not give a "birdseye" view that you videos provided!

Today, I have a question: I'm making a basket weave (brim) and now the pattern wants me to work 75 sc evenly spaced at the ends of each row...each row has a hdc or ch 2..there are 56 rows..how to I do this so it comes out right?

    Thank you!

    1. When instructions are telling you to work evenly, this means you may be skipping some stitches or working two in the same space in order to get the amount of 75 stitches in the required amount of stitches. It is like easing when you are sewing, if you are familiar with sewing.
